About The Grace School
Grace Today, Great Tomorrow
The Grace School is an inclusive K-8 private school for children of all abilities located on the Meeting Street Campus in Providence, RI. This is a place of academic excellence, where highly trained, dedicated teachers inspire creativity, nurture gifts, and encourage perseverance in every child. Children with special needs and without special needs learn and grow side-by-side making it a unique school environment where everyone succeeds.
We were the nation's first fully inclusive K-8 school. In addition to providing education to all students, with and without special needs, in the same learning environment, our inclusive culture of compassion provides the perfect opportunity to instill acceptance and understanding of children of all abilities. Out inclusive model was developed and honed for more than 20 years at Meeting Street's highly acclaimed and nationally accredited Early Learning Center before The Grace School was founded in 2006.

Another part of what makes The Grace School a success is the way we involve families and the community in our learning. We ask that families stay actively connected to their child's educational experience as well as their school culture. We hold many family engagement events throughout the year where students, teachers and parents come together as a learning community. We are involved in the world around us and strive to instill a sense of shared responsibility in our students.
