‍Once you have completed our inquiry form, our Admissions Team will reach out to schedule your school tour. You may also sign up for a tour here. This visit gives your family the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our programs, community, and application process.

May 1^st marks the start of “Off Season” enrollment at The Grace School.  Please note the following for the 2026-2027 school year:

• Limited seats remain in our K-8 classrooms;
• Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $14,135 and is inclusive of all supplies and fees; and
• Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with admissions screenings occurring bi-weekly.

Admissions Philosophy 

The admissions process at The Grace School seeks to evaluate the whole student and family to ensure that Grace is the best possible fit for your child. 

Grace School students are tomorrow’s future leaders, and we take great care in thoughtfully curating each classroom to ensure the best possible learning environment for every student.

We proudly support students and families of all races, socioeconomic backgrounds, religions and cultures. The Grace School is also a proud ally school of the LGBTQ+ community.

Who Is a Grace Learner? 

A Grace learner: 

• Is on or above grade level in all academic areas 
• Has limited tardy arrivals and/or absences from the previous school year
• Enjoys learning alongside children from all backgrounds 
• Leads with kindness and compassion 
• Demonstrates average or above-average learner qualities
• Requires no additional supports to thrive in a traditional classroom environment 

What The Grace School Cannot Support 

• A primary emotional, mental health, or behavioral diagnosis
• Consistent displays of maladaptive forms of communication (e.g., physical aggression, destructive and/or self-injurious behaviors, elopement)
• Requires continuous, one-to-one pull-out support, including physical, occupational or speech-language therapies and/or behavioral health services.

Admissions Process for Grades 1–8 

• Application Packet:
  A completed application packet includes:
  • Transcript from previous school year
  • Teacher Letter of Recommendation
  • Financial Aid application (If applicable. Requests for aid will not impact application evaluations.)
  • $50 non-refundable application fee

• Application Review: 
  Once all materials are submitted using the FACTS admissions portal, our Admissions Committee will review your application. Please note: applications will not be reviewed until all materials have been submitted.

• Introductory Call
  A member of our Admissions Committee will contact you to discuss your application. Students who are determined to be a strong fit for The Grace School will be invited to participate in an entry exam.

• Entry Exam Day*: 
  Students invited to participate in Entry Exam Day will complete two, 20 – 30 minute assessments completed on a desktop computer. Exams are administered using the IXL platform and include English Language Arts and Math. Support will be provided for students who need assistance using a mouse or keyboard. While students complete their exams, families will be participate in small group tours of our campus and classrooms.

• Committee Review: 
  The Admissions Committee will review assessment results alongside the completed application materials. Final decisions are made based on academic performance and learner qualities. 

• Classroom Visits:
  In order to ensure the best fit for your child, the final step in our admissions process is the classroom visit. This is an opportunity for your child to experience The Grace School environment in real time and get to know their teacher for the coming school year.
  • Students entering Grades 1 – 3 will participate in a two-hour classroom visit
  • Students entering Grades 4 – 8 will participate in a full-day classroom visit

• Decision Notification: 
  Admissions decisions will be communicated via email and will include financial aid award information, if applicable. To ensure communication is not missed, we recommend adding the following e-mail addresses to you “safe sender” list: noreply@factsmgt.com and sisinstitutionsupport@factsmgt.com.

• Enrollment Commitment: 
  Families will have approximately three (3) weeks to complete the enrollment contract and submit the required deposit to secure their child’s spot for the upcoming school year. 

Admissions for Kindergarten 

• Application Packet:
  A completed application packet includes:
  • Letter of Recommendation from Pre-Kindergarten (If applicable)
  • Financial Aid application (If applicable. Requests for aid will note impact application evaluations.)
  • $50 non-refundable application fee

• Application Review:
  Once all application materials are submitted using the FACTS admissions portal, students will be invited to Kindergarten Testing Day. Please note: all Kindergarten applicants will be invited to a Kindergarten Testing Day*. 

• Play-Based Entry Exam:
  Students will meet new friends in the kindergarten classroom where members of The Grace School faculty will engage with students to determine their developmental baseline. Areas of evaluation include:
  • Number recognition (1-10)
  • Counting to 10
  • Letter recognition
  • Recognition of shapes and colors
  • Ability to follow simple directions

• Committee Review: 
  The Admissions Committee will review all data collected from Testing Day, along with submitted preschool records and the family application. Decisions are based on academic readiness and behavioral readiness for an inclusive learning environment. 

• Decision Notification: 
  Admissions decisions will be communicated via email and will include financial aid award information, if applicable. To ensure communication is not missed, we recommend adding the following e-mail addresses to you “safe sender” list: noreply@factsmgt.com and sisinstitutionsupport@factsmgt.com.

• Enrollment Commitment:

*Applications received after June 15, 2026 will be assessed using an alternative format. More information will be provided at the time of invitation.
